SIGMASIX is a Geneva - based experimental studio.
The audiovisual artists combine a large spectrum of practices with a focus on lighting design, scenography, museography and installations.
Each project is seen as a new take on existing technologies, interactive strategies, and a new opportunity to merge techniques and art to offer unique and exceptional experiences.
As a practice Sigmasix is in a constant search for magic and poetry obtained by allowing alien technologies cohabit together. The studio’s ambition is to repurpose technologies to spaces and objects. It does so with an extraordinary capacity in integrating technicalities to the point of dilution where perception breaks down to the core of the concept.
Initiated in 2004 by Swiss artists Eric Morzier and Florian Pittet, SIGMASIX works both on art and research projects as much as commercial and consulting ones. Today, the studio has a small team of four people and works with a vast network of freelancers and interns to make sure all project and ideas are aligned with each and every client’s needs.
