We are proud to announce that Carles López from Reactable is connected to our booking roster A/V Agency and will participate in the next edition of SónarKids. Carles will present the Reactable Workshop for kids, with the support of A/V City!
SonarKids is a project with its own identity, which preserves the exploratory and innovative nature of Sónar. It invites both artists and the public to create an experience that expands the horizons of child and family entertainment.
Reactable is a popular and attractive interactive tool created by the Music Technology Group of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. It consists of a table with a blue interface and different geometric shapes with which to create sounds and compose music in real time.
Reactable musical expert Carles López has developed two parts to the experience to explain how it works and how to use the tool: firstly talking about the origins of the idea and the function of each piece; in the second one children and parents will interact, improvise and create sound by using the Reactable table. It is a fun and original way to access the world of electronic music.
