What is really striking about their artwork is the perfect balance between structural investigation and visual impact. Their projection mappings are recognizable by the audiovisual blast of shapes and colours they deliver to the viewer.
They are entertainingly immersive while being the result of a complex and detailed investigation. We had the chance to see one of their projections at Signal Festival 2018: NUCLEUS³.
Simply put, it’s very hard to take your eyes (and ears) off the facade! The viewer is fully entangled within the audiovisual abstractions, constantly deconstructing and reconstructing every single element of the structure.
Beyond projection mapping, the audiovisual duo is specialized in 3D immersive projects, motion graphics and media design.
With the name ruestungsschmie.de, they want to point out the discrepancy between the financial resources of the defense industry and the cultural sector.
