Neal Coghlan aka Aszyk makes music and visuals, then combines the two for a perfectly synced live performance.
The audiovisual artist studied Graphic Design at Sheffield Hallam University where he worked his balls off to produce a portfolio full of illustrated and animated pieces, and graduated in the summer of 2008 – when Britain got *asht* on by the recession.
Aside from his in-house work, he manages to find time to work on external projects, many being competition based. He has an almost painful obsession with music & visual synchronization and is currently compiling assets and equipment for performing live visuals.
His competition winning project ‘Tasty Visuals’ was his first major breakthrough in this combat of poor audio-visual synchronicity and he urges you to watch it again and again so you can appreciate how effing long it actually took him to put together.
