DEADV is a visual artist and VJ based in Melbourne, Australia. His mind bending videos are born out of a love of technology and a curiosity about the misappropriation of it’s use. DEADV deconstructs made and found footage, utilising video feedback, databending and video glitching techniques.
Collaborating with local musicians and electronic experimenters, DEADV mixes low- and high-technologies to create phased-out video textures.
His deconstructive use of technology can have surprisingly beautiful results, producing visuals that morph and evolve into an ever-changing landscape of psychedelic light and colour.
